I had a TPU case before I bought it. It turned yellowish so I didn't like it! I was worried about the TNP case scratching my 3ds, but it doesn't sound like a hard click and I had no trouble installing them. The downsides might be that if you drop it it might not hold ur ds as expected but I also wonder if anyone else drops their 3ds from its height except youtubers.? Do people play it while walking? It will definitely protect mine when I put it in my pocket or bag! That's exactly what I expected from this case. If you prefer a softer case, look for a TPU case! Because it feels softer after I've used mine. I was a bit tired of TPU cases turning yellow, but yeah! I don't like the crystal case with hinges so this is perfect!
