I use this unit in my car which is connected directly to the power amp without a head unit. The sound is great, but I have two annoyances that let me down: 1) You can't use this device to put your phone on speakerphone. When a call comes in, it is transferred to your phone's speaker. The problem is that this device does not support phone call protocol, only music. 2) It will not automatically connect to your phone's Bluetooth. I have to reconnect every time I turn off the car. I wired it to turn off when I turn off the car otherwise it would drain the battery. Other thoughts: the cables are very thin, but at least long enough for easy routing.
