The GVM 50RS is a pretty great LED panel. great benefits for filmmakers making films outside of cyberpunk. However, after experimenting with this light, I can say I was wrong. What makes this light so special is that you can control not only the HUE, but also the SATURATION. This feature alone essentially saves you the hassle of using multiple color gels for your lighting, as you can easily change the color intensity on the spot. Not only that, if you don't need color on set, the 50RS also works as a standard dual color LED panel, delivering enough power to be useful for general scenes or interviews. It should be noted that this LED provides a larger flood beam (about 120 degrees) that is more pinpoint compared to the panel. In short, it's really an all-in-one LED panel capable of reproducing pleasing colors against the backdrop of your movie scene. and foreground, and when you don't need it, just switch to two-tone mode and keep shooting. I recommend at least one of these lights in your entire lighting kit as being able to play with colors beyond daylight and incandescent will really help you get creative with your lighting. Not only that, I firmly believe that you can get a near-final look of your film in-camera without having to rely on post-processing. This light will help you to do this very quickly and easily, especially when combined with the Waveform GH5 and the Vectorscope!
