With this RGB video light, I can take better photos, I can not only adjust the color temperature, but also output countless kinds of light colors, meets my needs for a variety of shooting scenes, perfect! I took this flashlight after seeing Gerald Andon's review. So far, everything he's said seems to correlate to how this light source works. After reading numerous reviews of this flashlight I am aware of its strengths and weaknesses. One of the shortcomings that came up in every review was the barn door mounting system. I thought I had been warned in advance how easy it was to undo the tiny threaded screws when trying to install the barn doors but I was still outraged by what I saw and what happened. I bought the GVM 50RS as an inexpensive RGB light. RGB lighting is just beginning to appear on the indie film scene and this was one of the most affordable lights out there. The panel itself is well designed and made of aluminum. Personally I think it looks great and it is mounted on a quality yoke system that can be mounted both vertically and horizontally which helps with the barn door clearance in the event of a roll over. And it's great that you get barn doors! You also get two diffusion plates. Primary, which serves as a protective layer for diodes.
