So I built a video studio and know very little about the technology in this area. I argued a lot about the light, ended up buying a proper light and this light for its RGB capability. I was very impressed with this light and will probably buy more of these in the near future. Please watch the video to see it in action. Advantages: 1. The app connects to the device via WiFi and then has full control. good range, not sure how far but haven't gone out of range yet.2. It can switch to different colors and intensities in real time. The app works with a color wheel, so the color can be easily controlled.3. Doesn't get hot or heavy so fits most tripods.4. Assembly and disassembly takes about 2 minutes? topcons: 1. I wish it came with a tripod, even if it costs more. I ended up buying a metal tripod which was too easy as I didn't know what kind of tripod he needed. This is mainly due to my own inexperience in this area of technology.
