So at the risk of sounding like a fan, these are awesome panels! This feature is exceptionally good. The brightness and color accuracy, the controls and even most of the build quality are top notch! (The thumbscrews that attach the swing gates to the frame could be better if no thumbscrews are used for a better connection.) Another downside is that the master/slave function is 1 to 1. This means that regardless of the setting of the master, the rest of the panels will be the same. I wish we had individual control over each panel. Also a wireless controller or phone app would be a big improvement. However, this is not a decisive factor as this panel offers significantly more. The RGB control is one of the best I've seen. You can choose your shade using the fantastic LCD display on the back of the panel. So if you are looking for something for your studio or for use on set, the GVM QX 50RS is a great panel to have in your arsenal.
