The ring itself is flimsy and cheap
The palette itself isn't bad and I'll use it until the ring breaks, but if that's the case I'll look for a completely different product. The ring on the right, still in the box, is not as flat as the ring on the left. The pallet of rings I took out of the box were completely flat and I just folded the sides to fit around the ring gauge to bring back some kind of curve. If the ring was a bit thicker and stiffer it would probably give it a better shape. This is definitely not the ring advertised at the top of the page.
