Super Sculpey Firm and Medium Blend

Super Sculpey Firm and Medium Blend feels and acts more like "regular" modeling clay than any other polymer clay I've tried. Compared to Honey Blend, Firm is initially more difficult to knead. After conditioning, however, it can be processed softly. It handles a little better without deforming than a medium compound, can carry a little more dead weight, and cuts a little better too. It mixes just as well as a medium blend. Although it is stiffer initially, after conditioning it will be difficult for me to tell it apart from the average compound. So much so that I'm sure I'd mix them up if I used them at the same time. hands are larger than yours, I suggest using the "two-hand method" to condition the clay. Simply place one hand over the other and let your fingers help each other push and knead the clay. So two thumbs rest on eight fingers touching, and so on and so forth. I know it sounds childish and simple, but you'll be surprised how much easier it will be for you to perform this two-handed technique. Have fun shaping! Carol
