I used this wallet in Europe, it was mostly attached to my shoulder bag and only showed up when shopping. It turned out to be superfluous, but I was never afraid that someone would steal my wallet. The chain and clasp are very secure. when used correctly. and plenty of slots and pockets were more than enough to store my cards and various currencies. The wallet on the side came in very handy.
