I ordered it to shoot with my DSLR. I really wanted slide rails, but didn't want to spend a lot of money ($80+) to get good quality rails long enough (ball bearings, no friction slides). It takes some practice to get smooth movement, but I was able to get it smooth enough to run it through the gimbal and get a pretty clean end result. I recommend starting before rolling so the wheels are aligned in the same direction before you start shooting. Perfect tool but definitely worth the cheap price. It's cheaper than any decent slider. Besides, it's just a useful tool to move the tripod in space to create different shots even if you don't intend to shoot moving footage.
