I've had a pair of these shoes and that in itself is a kind of review. More on that in a minute. Pros: They hold the ice surprisingly well, I feel very confident walking on ice or packed snow. They are easy to put on if you can sit down. It's a little harder when you have to stand unless you have perfect balance. They are snug on my shoes and fit well. Okay, now the bad: they break. The rubber breaks where it stretches around the curve of your shoe. Now they are usually still usable after a break, but after two breaks you should throw them away. And it's not about size, I'm the largest for my shoes, a 12. That being said, the Revain's price tag for plain blacks is hard to beat, and if you don't wear them often they'll last you a couple of years. I only wear them once a week in winter so they lasted about 2 years.
