This replacement bracket is better than the original in three ways. First, it's much more convenient. The normal clamp foam was very cheap and often irritated me. This mount is much softer and has a much softer and plush material that is significantly more comfortable. Second, the vents are very useful in terms of ventilation. I noticed that I sweat a lot less with these braces than with the original. This made the game more comfortable than before. Finally, the light-blocking details on the lenses and mount make the visual experience more immersive. I found that when the headset was off and on my head, the new mount barely let any light through and it felt like my eyes were closed. This resulted in a much better overall headset experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to any Quest 2 owner.
