The back is made of thin nylon.
This backpack has nice leather, but the photo doesn't show that the back is made of thin nylon. When I loaded it with my everyday items (iPad Pro, office stuff, and bags) and put it on, the thin nylon straps tightened so the backpack wasn't resting on my back. I saw that nylon didn't suit my needs.
