Great in the store AND in the kitchen

A non-contact thermometer is something anyone can use and this one is incredible value. I keep it in a drawer by the stove because that's where I use it the most. Just take it, aim it, pull the trigger. Is the oven ready? What temperature is this pan? I even use it to season black iron and carbon steel on the TOP of the kiln instead of in the kiln, saving tons of fuel. However, a meat thermometer is garbage. It's not exactly what makes it worse than useless. I threw it away.
