The partition is attached at the bottom with Velcro.
I like the wallet size. That's why I ordered it. What I don't like is that the divider is attached with velcro from below and can be detached from below. I'm not a big fan of velcro and wouldn't order them if I knew about them. I don't see this in the reviews or in the description. That's why I'm sending it back now. It also has a scent.
