Review on 3M Quick Headlight Clear 39173 by James Hardy

The kit included a small 3000 grit sanding pad and two sealed packets of chemical wipes. I have already fully prepped the headlights on my 2002 Jeep Grad Cherokee Laredo using another 3M Headlight Restoration Kit and 3M sandpaper that was purchased separately. I used wipes on a relatively hot day (low 90s) and followed the directions to wait 10-15 minutes between uses. Each cloth is suitable for two headlights. I used nitrile gloves, although the cloths and the odor inside are not very noticeable. They are specially formulated for the clear coating of plastic headlight lenses and contain at least three (3) different UV inhibitors. A month later, the headlights look perfect except for summer bug stains. 3M has rarely been the cheapest solution, but in my experience they have always worked as advertised. So far so good with this kit.
