Review on Eton FR300 Emergency Crank Radio Black - Discontinued Model: Unparalleled Reliability in Crisis by Chad Delgado

When I first saw the image here on Revain I wasn't impressed even though it was the perfect product for my needs. I ordered it expecting it to be out of stock as advertised. but a few days later it arrived! I opened the box and was amazed by everything, this is the perfect companion. My only negative comment is that they don't have an AC adaptor/charger. When you call Eton/Grundig for support they just don't answer! I've called several times, emailed several times, no answer. This is Eton/Grundig, USA. I ended up buying an adapter from Radio Shack which worked well and matched the specs in the manual. The adapter is designed to quickly charge internal batteries so your radio is always ready. Nihm's add-on/replacement package is nowhere to be found, and certainly no response from Eton/Grundig US. I am very happy with the radio for the price and for the features it offers. One last point. if you have a newer Motorola phone. The supplied adapters do not fit. I am trying to find a supplier. If you look at my photos you will at least see details that you cannot see in the photos provided and I hope this helps everyone. I would give it 4.5 stars for lack of support but I can't so it still gets a 5 star rating.
