Poor workmanship but good strong scent
The sticks to which the incense material is glued are in many cases too fragile to hold incense by themselves when using a standard incense holder. Not everyone is like that, but I would say 30%. They also tied 5 or 6 sticks together with a hard plastic band that is difficult to remove. I broke a few sticks trying to separate them, so I cut each string and put each stick back in my pocket. (See image.) The incense itself is good, it burns for a standard amount of time so no complaints.
