This is a great CAT5e cable. Unlike the stuff I've tried at the national chain store, this one doesn't twist or bind, and when you hang it on the wall it negotiates curves and corners with no problem. It also cost a lot less. I am very pleased! If you are looking for an Ethernet cable for your home, CAT5e is what you need. Yes, CAT6 is better, but your home network probably doesn't have or need that bandwidth. As it stands, most home networks won't even come close to the limits of CAT5e, let alone the need for CAT6. Save a few bucks and go for CAT5e unless you're connecting an office building to serious commercial equipment.
