My best purchase this year

I'm a professional photographer and while I don't have many years of experience I can say I've worked with quite a few brands of flashlights. This flash was so awesome and I'm so lucky to have it. It has some issues but let's start with the good things: 1. The portability is so good, it's not that heavy (even with the battery) and it has a nice body2. It has two flash heads, which can give you slightly different light conditions3. The battery is so good it lasts forever (can't tell how many shots at full power) 4. Excellent modifiers sold separately5. If you have other Wi-Fi enabled Godox products, you have a wonderful ecosystem6. Great price for the product it's a 7. The digital display is easy to read and has a backlight that can be turned on or off. This product has its own problems and I will try to describe some of them here: 1. Godox support and troubleshooting is not very good, even the user manual is incomplete. I had an issue when I bought an X1C-T wireless flash transmitter (same brand) and the flash would not sync to the transmitter. The problem was in the configuration (very hidden) not listed in the manual. Before I could get it to work I emailed them asking what the problem could be and got no response. Even after trying to research my problem on the internet (youtube, google, etc.) I couldn't find anything about it. I was lucky enough to fix it.2. Does not work with Youngnuo RF-603 triggers. I assumed it could be used with any trigger because it has a miniplug slave connector, but I was wrong. The moment I connected the plug to the flash, the triggers stopped working. They must have a Godox trigger (or at least it looks like I haven't tried other brands)3. While I really don't mind the product being plastic and feeling a little flimsy, you might want to consider other brands if this is an issue for you (particularly the included mount).4. Additional settings are a bit hidden, and as I said in the first paragraph, the instructions are not complete, so you won't find all the options that a flash drive offers.5. Although this problem is easy to fix, the flash has a power off timer and when the flash turns off it doesn't start from the trigger, you have to turn the flash off and on again with the switch.
