Review on 💡 iNextStation Neon LED Strip Light 16.4ft: Waterproof Flexible LED NEON Light for Decor Indoors Outdoors [White] by Johnathan Stoner

I didn't make any modifications (e.g. cutting, soldering etc) as the connector was already attached. I just plugged it into the iGO universal power supply. The light bar was nice and bright, but after being plugged in for less than a minute, the area where the plug was plugged in felt hot. I thought it might be iGO but shortly after I got "60W 12VDC LED Driver, Low Voltage Output, IP67 Waterproof LED Power Supply, LED Transformer" and plugged it in for about 5 minutes. I used a digital meat thermometer and the temp on the outside of the cord was 131.9 degrees Fahrenheit. (That's too cool after a quick web search.) I've tried getting help online, but it's not available for this product. Too bad I bought adapters, connectors, a power supply and a substrate to make a sign. It's just a bum and they're not usually that hot? I was able to speak to someone on Revain chat and they said it wasn't safe in these temperatures. I tried their suggestion to plug it into a different outlet and the temp was still over 121 degrees. Q. I am returning it and will try a different brand. I wanted this to work so badly as I was planning on ordering a few more colors.
