My normal US size is a 12, and I am a medium build, and my clothing preferences always tend toward natural fabrics that breathe and stretch.The first slip I ordered is a large, and it hits about two inches above my knee.The next two I ordered are XLs, and the hem stops just below my knee. I like tea-length dresses, so I wanted both lengths.The XLs are only slightly looser than the large. I will also probably use at least one slip as a nightgown. If you get too warm when you sleep, you might enjoy this garment for that purpose. I was very pleasantly surprised when I got these slips because they are reasonably priced and well-made.The fabric content reads 95% Modal and 5% spandex on the beige slips and 95% rayon and 5% spandex on the blue slip with the slits at the side seams. I prefer the Modal, but both fabrics are soft. To avoid pilling or tears in the washer, I will wash them in lingerie bags in cold water and air dry them. Nice product!
