These are pretty comfortable for the most part, but I don't know that I would choose these for true athletic shoes. There simply isn't enough horizontal support. the baric is stretchy and as such your foot slips a bit side to side making them not terribly good for things like court sports.Stating that, they are pretty comfortable for day-to-day wear and for the price an excellent value.
