These are really nicely made flashlights! They have an attractive aluminum body and put out a decent amount of light for their size. Plastic lenses diffuse light well, although, as with LEDs in general, they are still fairly bright to view directly. Each flashlight has a cord that's about 6-1/2 feet long with a plug on the end, and the kit includes a "hub" that accepts all six connections and has a fairly standard AC adapter input. They also include a short cable with this adapter plug with bare ends to connect to any 12 volt DC power source. My application is a bit fancy and I don't need any of this, but it's all you need to get all six devices somewhere and plug them into a power source. I'm painting the lenses of one of these lights yellow and the other green, using stained glass paint to turn them into lights to mount on the back wall of our garage. The lights would then be used in conjunction with a photobeam emitter and sensor to indicate when a vehicle exits the beam at the entrance. I'm sure these lights would also provide decent lighting for an RV, sailboat or other 12V DC application. !
