Good product at a good price

Very happy with these lamps. They dim, which is a great feature, and they get a little warm at full brightness, but that's not a problem. The fixings for attaching the lamp to the ceiling could be a little better, but combined with the adhesive they are very strong.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • A few little things

Ideal for RV, shallow installations

I used them to light my RV. The little junction box that came with it didn't work, I had to strip and solder 6 wires and they don't work if you switch wires, traced and untraced. I like the low installation depth and the easy pressing. Just bought 6 more.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

The Real Deal on Motorhome Parts and Accessories

I was skeptical at first. Whenever you see lots of different but similar versions of something floating around, it smells like cheap Chinese stuff, but I'm very impressed with these lights. I bought these to create a vintage airflow. They are very bright and the 3000k versions are perfect Kelvin and look great. The case makes a very solid impression. The only two downsides are that the hub ports are a bit crappy and the aluminum finish is too shiny for my liking. Otherwise they are great and I…

Pros
  • Got it!
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

I have a very compact RV with limited sleeping space. The sleeping area can easily be expanded into an attached (unlit) tent. I needed lighting for a tent to run on a 12v RV power supply. These powerful 3 watt lights on a lightweight frame were a great solution. The warm white beam is even and very well spread (see 3 feet). In addition to using an RV, I would recommend them for any DIY project where 12v wiring is safer than 120v wiring.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • No.

Main Complaint = Poorly soldered negative wire.

Well, the light is warm (sort of), not the horrible faded white of many modern lights, and these lights are almost TOO bright and HOT. This is not my complaint, the complaint is that the negative wire connection is so badly soldered and the wire that connects is so flimsy and brittle that I could end up using about three or less of the six that could eventually be used because the ( -) just melted away somehow. Hot wire solder is good, but if your car is mostly fiberglass, like mine, and you…

  • Easy to use

  • Good for the most part, but...

Amazing quality for the price

These are really nicely made flashlights! They have an attractive aluminum body and put out a decent amount of light for their size. Plastic lenses diffuse light well, although, as with LEDs in general, they are still fairly bright to view directly. Each flashlight has a cord that's about 6-1/2 feet long with a plug on the end, and the kit includes a "hub" that accepts all six connections and has a fairly standard AC adapter input. They also include a short cable with this adapter plug with…
