This product is exciting after I got the battery size for a cheap remote control, the battery needed is 1 27A. The product was easy to install and after we figured out how to change the login code it works very well. The product contains a lot of plastic but after seeing more expensive padlocks with the same amount of plastic I thought this product was a good buy.

This thing sucks. Will not program. Do not expect customer service from either the seller or Revain. I tried to send it back and was told to chop up the salt. Your money is gone. The battery for the key ring must also be sent in. It could be CR2032. But no. You'll have to contact the batter company to get a battery smaller than AAA. I tried to give this one zero stars but it won't let me. RUN FROM THIS ARTICLE.

Lock good, inside handle needs strengthening. All parts are cast from plastic. Therefore, the inner handle needs to be strengthened by adding screws in the battery compartment. Be sure to pierce in the middle and bottom, otherwise you may pierce the lead wires. Do not use a screw that is too long and tighten by hand to avoid over-tightening. The lock works perfectly and the remote control feature is my wife's favorite feature! THIS DOES NOT COME WITH SETUP OR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.

This item was purchased in July/August 2020 and installed on my RV. Fast forward to April 2021 and the lock has only been used 4 times. The keyboard no longer works.
