I have a bed with a 14 inch thick mattress. These sheets barely fit around the edges of the mattress and there is only an inch of sheeting at the bottom of the mattress. I don't think they would have gone without mattress stays. The advertised 16" deep pockets are the entire edge of the sheet from the flat top edge to the bottom edge. They are also shown as 110 x 102 but the packaging says they are 108 x 102. I wanted a little more width and was disappointed to see they are not as wide as advertised they seem to be of good quality, soft and wrinkle free.. I have only washed them and put them on the bed so I don't know how they will hold up in the long run.
