This is great! Great quality, holds my 27" monitors perfectly! Overall very easy, even for me. I REALLY appreciate the two different VESA mount options as I had to use both and now I understand why there are two options. I had to use both not because this mounting system has any flaws.I had to use both because Samsung monitors make mounting to any VESA mount a monumental feat as you literally have to rip them apart.After seeing a reliable video on youtube I saw After removing the backs from my Samsumgs and then reattaching the backs so they could be installed, I ended up returning the Samsung monitors and replacing them with a pair of DELL monitors - I'm so glad I did It's been frustrating to realize that I'm better off with Dell monitors.so happy with them.again not this montage's fault systems, but 100% the fault of Samsung's bad design. --d installation options both allow for easier "dropping" into the installation (fasten the top two screws first and add the bottom two after inserting the top two into the bracket). This makes it MUCH easier for a single installer. *** Also, be sure to mount the VESA mount in the "UP” direction. ***M4x12 screws are already included which is a nice touch. Despite what the instructions say, the width of the bracket is 2mm (if you need to buy other screws, just say so!) so I replaced the M4 x 10mm my DELL had with the ones that came with this bracket Replaced M4 x 12mm screws. .for a little more security. (It might not make sense, but if you need to buy screws, it will). Tension: good. As a result, the tension on my hands was different on the left and right. But here's a tip. *** Don't stress until you have your monitors installed. Don't give in to temptation. *** When setting up the monitors, make sure one of your hands is under the monitor to avoid falling. The arm was too loose due to tension and not holding the monitor, but that was an easy fix. NB offers a torque setting (see F in the installation guide). I had to flip it on the "+" side about 4-5 times before it held with safe tension. Be patient, it will work. Also, you need to *** extend your arm a bit to engage the key. If the arm is retracted, you will not be able to insert the torque wrench. *** (I thought I was doing something wrong and was a bit frustrated until I realized it was just a matter of stretching my arm forward - this isn't in the instructions). My only complaint is that depending on where you put your desk, and if your desk is pushed close to a wall, you may not be able to align/hit your monitors perfectly if you have to move them all the way to the back of the desk. This is because the backs of the arms behind them need more room to maneuver for the encounter. I probably don't understand anything! I am sorry! Plus they are amazing and such great deals. So nice that the monitors are not on my desk. Feel much better with the extra space (I don't have bulky monitors on my desk!), and I now have monitors at the perfect ergonomic height for my eyes (no need to stack paper under monitors for optimal use for my eyes). These pens changed everything for so many reasons! I should add that I have an unusual table with an odd back edge that extends down 4 inches and couldn't accommodate a rear clip mount. I was a bit disappointed that I had to drill a small hole in my desk to accommodate an alternative bolt and swivel mount, but that would be the case with any set I found in need of these alternative mounting needs. They have thought of everything for their users and spared no expense, including tools and hardware for various types of assembly. Once installed I have no complaints at all. I also love the cable management for the monitors. Looks so beautiful! (see photo) This set is solidly built and almost all metal. Powerful, strong and I am very happy with it! I couldn't be more excited or satisfied with this purchase.
