I originally bought a size 16 for my 13 year old son and had to return it because it was too big so I bought a size 14 and it fit very well, looked great! Then I washed it. The instructions say wash on a gentle cycle and machine wash at medium temperature. When this was done it shrank so much that it was too small for my seven year old nephew. They tried washing, stretching and air drying it again, but it couldn't fit my nephew of thirteen anymore.

Nice sweater, great red, runs small, washes well! 🙌🏻 I recommend maybe going up a size if you don't want to be tight. Purchased this for my grandson and my daughter loved it, he wore it for Thanksgiving.

Looks great and was very warm! Washed and dried according to label instructions and it has shrunk. Loved the size 5. The photo shows the shirt my toddler wore UNDER this sweater before I washed it. 😂

I've been looking for a simple black sweater for our family photos for a long time and finally found this one! It was perfect! We even used it at a wedding. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because it shrunk a lot in the wash :(

Big yarn weight, nice knit but our sleeves were pinched a bit at the top which made it a bit fluffy and then when I washed it went down 3 sizes, no kidding. It looked like a washcloth with sleeves.

The color is completely wrong. We bought three of these, all the same color and style but different sizes. And they are all different colors. Size 2T is darker than the picture but larger sizes are more sky blue. This is really disappointing as we wanted the kids to have matching sweaters for photos.

This sweater is not dark blue like in the picture, but in a completely different shade of blue. Washing this sweater will make it unwearable as it will shrink about 6 sizes smaller. Before washing, it fit my 11 year old perfectly. After washing, it looks like a 3-year-old child.

The sweater is beautiful, well made and fits as expected, but ignore the care instructions on the inside label. It says "medium tumble dry" so I washed it in cold water, tumble dried on LOW (and my dryer is really low) but the sweater came back 2 sizes smaller. I contacted the seller and all they did was repeat their care instructions. Not soft, very scratchy. Also, there is very little work. The arms are very short. I wouldn't buy this again. The color was very good.

After reading other reviews I did what several others recommended and bought a size 6 for my almost 5 year old son who currently wears a 4T. I washed and dried it according to the label directions and it has shrunk to about 5t (it looked like 4t fresh out of the dryer but as the fabric cooled and relaxed it stretched a bit more). Be careful! Be sure to hand wash this sweater only. Decided to wash delicate garments with other sweaters on the second wash (as did many) and it basically fell apart. The entire left side has collapsed and cannot be repaired. It's along the seam on the sleeve and on the side. The strange thing is that it had to dissolve because no threads or residue whatsoever were found.
