Review on RUFFWEAR Fernie Sweater 🐶 Knit Quick Dry Fleece Dog Jacket by Mary Reed

Ruffwear wins again. I am a hydrotherapist and we use Ruffwear life jackets on all dogs during their classes. My pit bull weighs about 50 pounds and wears a small vest. I was hoping the sweater would fit the same size chart and it looks like I'm right. Little Fernie is perfect for him. It is difficult for him to find a coat because he is not only slim and thin but also has a very deep chest and slim body. Honestly, it's like this coat was made for him. The coat makes him pee and poop easily, or the coat gets dirty. His back falls right onto his femurs. It fits snugly against his chest and he doesn't seem to have any trouble moving. One caveat: After wearing it for a full day, playing with another dog, and hiking in the woods, I noticed that it has a few red/wet spots on the front of each elbow. Nothing bad, but the snug fit can rub in places, so don't put it on and never take it off. Before I forget, he's a gorgeous brown (just like a deer) with white on his chest, and the green looks so pretty on him.
