Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nearly PERFECT (4.5 stars)

First off, these are head and shoulders above anything I've tried, so there's no question how awesome they are. Here are six of the best things I haven't seen in any other headphones I've bought: β—‹ COMFORT: I can't rate the comfort of things highly enough. Seriously, I used to wear earplugs which caused me more pain. β—‹ FIT: I tell people I have weird ears and I ALWAYS have a hard time keeping headphones in my ears. Some fit well, but I had to keep putting them back in during the day. Just not with these guys! They definitely lock in and stay there (even while running!) β—‹ SOUND: I'm by no means an audiophile, but with the app's customizable EQ control I feel a new level of judging artists' skills. You have incredible sound control! β—‹ NOISE CANCELLATION: I was driving down the freeway with the windows down and it was barely noticeable. It was so good at blocking out that outside environment that driving past a smelly car would make my brain (embarrassingly) wonder if the noise-cancellation was on or if I'd accidentally left it in "normal" mode. β—‹ CONTROLS: I wasn't expecting this, but it was super cool. You can program 3 configurations: right earbud only, left earbud only, both earbuds together. β—‹ MIC: Everything. I've been looking for these magic mics for so long! Regular conversation is so understandable (both sides) even in public. Now I reach for my headphones to hold the phone instead. That's great! The two biggest criticisms of these headphones are so minor that they should only be 4.5 stars, but they are not perfect. β—‹ CONTROLS: While I liked the ability to program the headphones individually and collectively (see above), I'm very disappointed that there isn't a "one touch" option. Currently there are only the commands "double tap" and "hold". I would love to see a "one click" option added. β—‹ CASE: Yes, the case is small and easy to put in your pocket, but my biggest gripe is the dust cover on the charging port. You have to open it and it's only held by my thin piece of plastic and the charger doesn't have 100% access to the port. It will completely fail and break down over time.
