Review on πŸ”Š Green Adesso Waterproof Speaker with Bluetooth 3.0 - Retail Packaging by Robert Howell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Actually works really well for the shower.

I originally wrote a bad review when this speaker stopped working after 2 1/2 months. Their tech support (Andrew Lares) was quick to respond when the volume stopped working and Bluetooth stopped connecting. He suggested that I should try pairing it with another device. I've done it, android too, and it won't connect. Then I tried the IOS device and it connected without any problems and the volume control worked. I tried my windows pc and it connected and the volume worked. In trying to determine what changed about my Android phone when it stopped working, I settled on KODI, which I recently installed and which was the first app to show speaker problems. After exiting KODI, the speaker connected without any problems and the volume control worked as before. Note that the other Android device that the speaker didn't connect to had KODI installed. Now that that problem is solved, let's take a look at the speaker itself: it's not stereo and doesn't sound very accurate, but it's water and vapor resistant, it has a silicone rubber outer shell to protect it from drops and bumps, it sounds good enough for news and weather in the shower and it's loud enough to hear background shower noise. The battery lasts (at least) two weeks with a daily use of about 30 minutes. I charge it every 2 weeks whether it needs it or not.
