At the door for $10. How do you do that? - Only lasted a year

Received yesterday. Delivery from Revain in one day. I haven't used it yet, but I've had similar devices. They usually last a few years so I'm looking forward to it. All packaging is recyclable. Big. But the body of a corkscrew is considered e-waste, so disposal at the end of its useful life is a challenge. Poorly. The manual is printed on green paper, but the two-page font size is so small that it's difficult to read. Because figuring out how to work is a pretty obvious thing. Neutral. The manual also says it should only be used with standard wine corks, not plastic or synthetic corks. The reason is probably that these devices only last a few years. There is a huge red or green status light on the top of the device that shows the status. No thin LEDs on this thing. Calling him Mr. Electrician by giving him a gender is just stupid. My recommendation for anyone who can handle this is to stick with a manual opener, like the winged type, which is simple and reliable. However, it's fun and only costs $10 at the door. I haven't used it yet, but I already have a $10 worth of joy. Update: Used a few times, works well, quieter than my previous electric wine openers. Electrician died today 11/13/2020 RIP. The screw has come loose from the engine. Poor quality - stay away.
