I bought two of these and when I turned on the power the capacitors shorted out and one literally exploded. And as you know, when the smoke "goes out", the electronics stop working. I'm not new to this, I built one (a kit) a few years ago and have used several atomizers and never had a problem. It stopped working when water got into the PVC so I decided to give it a try. On the second, I used the included power injector and it blew the mini whip. Same problem, burned CAP.
