Not copper! in my review
I am rapidly learning about products offered on Best Buy. The wire I received was not copper core it was aluminum. I didn't use the product immediately, nor was I aware of the difference in safety and performance. Lesson learned. avoid this product.
- Making baluns for my ham radio HF wire antennas with this wire is a pleasure!
- The wire kit's insulation is not UV resistant and may deteriorate with prolonged sunlight exposure
