My daughter is a very tall, slim 6-year-old. She's 51 inches tall and 50ish pounds. She generally wears size 7 (with adjustments to the waistband). She has outgrown her size 7 PJs (they do tend to shrink) so we got her new ones for Christmas. She loves space, and these seemed perfect. I purchased them, along with a different pair from another vendor (they made the ones she just outgrew). As you can see by the photo. There's a huge discrepancy in sizing. Both were are size 8. But the Shelry Rocket PJs are a good 2 inches shorter! In fact, we have old, size 6 PJ's that are longer than them. Going off the Shelry size chart (Size 8 is 51-54 inches and 59-69 pounds) , I thought we'd found some PJs with room to grow. Boy was I wrong! I'm glad I took them out of the packaging before Christmas, or I would have one very disappointed child.Other than that, the quality seems really good. We'll pass these on to a younger cousin. But I won't be buying anything from Shelry again.
