Without brush attachment: Both sections retracted: 17" 1 section retracted: 25.5" Fully extended: 35" With brush head: Both sections retracted: 22" Fully extended: 40" Fully extended with a broom, it is shorter than most standard brooms/swiffers but still handy for a quick clean (I'm 6ft 1" for reference).
