I chose this light because I liked the design of the clip. It's beautiful and durable once attached to the tank, and the articulating heads are great for directing light in specific directions. The best thing about this device is also the only downside I can find: its brightness. It's frighteningly bright! In my opinion this is too light for a 5 gallon but will be fine for a 10-15. Overall I'm very happy with this light, especially for the price, the only change that will make it perfect is the built in dimmer.
