This is exactly what I was looking for. As I get older, I prefer shoulder bags. One of my favorite Dooney and Bourke bags has a top handle that's too short to fit comfortably on my shoulder, let alone overhead. This strap is grain like the handbag finish and the color difference is negligible. Both are black, but there is a very small but imperceptible difference. The accessories also go well with those on the handbag. The length is adjustable so I can find the perfect fit for me. I am happy with my purchase. Many Thanks.
