I bought this dressing gown for my husband as a Valentine's Day gift. He really likes this robe but I was surprised that the sleeves are too short. He wears men's clothing of medium height, medium height, 5ft 9in tall. His arms are hanging at his sides, all his wrists are open. The robe has a lot of fabric to overlap in the front. Terry cloth has a slight thickness. Better than a cheap cotton beach towel, but not thick. Husband still thinks it's warm. I like that it dries faster than thick terry cloth. I don't think it can be tumble dried without shrinking. I won't try
