I've had these for decades. Some of them were rusty and I needed a replacement. That fits the bill. I use them not only for turkey but also for other purposes. In fact when I close a turkey I don't use rope, I just use a couple of them. I also use them to clean the garlic press, check the potatoes for doneness, and hold the sausages together. I also used a few for crafting.
