I bought this because I wanted to delve into the world of mechanical keyboards, I had a Mac and their Kickstarter was interesting. I have red switches because I thought they were quieter and they kind of are. For them, it's a nice linear feel. The build quality is good, the keyboard feels very solid and is still a fairly cheap keyboard for its class. And wireless too! Battery life is pretty good and there is no lag over Bluetooth. I like it immediately, it's made for Mac. That's definitely a good start, but my problem is the height. He's SO fat. If you don't want to break your wrists I would suggest getting a wrist brace. I have no experience with the top row of function keys. That was one of the reasons I wanted a smaller keyboard; they were useless. In general, everything is fine, but there are definitely a few issues that you either understand well or still want to study.
