Works, looks, sounds, loads, good.

I needed a charger for my new Pixel 4a phone and thought I might as well get a charger to use as a BT transmitter while at work. I bought one from Walmart but it wouldn't connect to my phone so I had to return it. In comparison, this transmitter has much better build, weight, and build quality than the one I bought from Walmart (apart from actually working). Installation was easy. After turning it on, simply plug it into your car and then flip the radio switch to the channel displayed on the station. Then (on Android) go to Settings > Connected devices and tap Connect new device. After installation, you will hear a welcome message through your car's speakers. Sound quality: I have a CD player in my car and the sound is as good as playing a CD. I've read some reviews that mention low audio levels. I think that's probably because you need to adjust both your car's volume and your phone's volume for the best audio results. I was able to turn the volume up with no problem (as loud or louder than a regular car CD player or radio). You want to make sure that the majority of your audio volume is coming from your phone's volume and not your car's speakers (you need to do this with every signal you send to your car's speakers). Charging: My phone charged well. I bought a separate $4 USB-C cable with charger so I can also use it as a phone charger and it worked great. My sense of build quality seems to be that it will work just fine. Other functions: I haven't tried speakerphone or other similar functions yet. If I should do this in the future I will update this review. My car has a charger in the front and an armrest. It's great to just leave the transmitter and charging cable in the armrest, close the compartment, and then I don't have to look at it or bother with it (unless I want to charge my phone). Once paired, I turned the device off, even unplugged it, then turned it back on and it didn't need to communicate again. It worked automatically as soon as I started the car. I think that overall this channel is much better looking and better designed than most. Definite $10 purchase.
