Arrived broken. I didn't realize this until I first used it for my commercial setup. The stand just slid out and dangled by the XLR cable. As I watched what was going wrong, I noticed that one of the screw knobs was missing a piece of plastic that would help tighten it onto the large stand. I found this out after comparing it to other pens that had a plastic part and showed the correct functionality. I was disappointed when I received a defective item. Couldn't even use it. I'm also not sure how it all happened. I was also embarrassed that this pole fell apart in front of the customers. I had to remove it after realizing I couldn't use it. Didn't have time to check immediately upon receipt. In any case, this shouldn't happen from the start, and we shouldn't waste time checking every little thing we get to ensure product quality, right? Please review yours and be sure to do a thorough review or you will end up like me. I've added photos to show you what I mean. I've also included a picture of the handle with no plastic part versus the handle with no plastic part. Not sure if it's broken? I checked everywhere and even had it in my Pelican case. Not a single small broken black piece could be found. I was unable to contact the seller but was able to leave feedback for the seller in hopes that they will replace it and give me a second chance. I deserve to use this product as everyone else says it's great. Unfortunately not for me. Paid for something that doesn't work. Please repair or replace this item and I will remove this review. UPDATE: I found the company and contacted them directly. It took some time to find her. You have replaced the defective item. I had to pay for the return shipping at my own expense. It took a while but at least I got a working product. I give from 1 star to 3 stars. Could have been 5 if I didn't have to go through the hassle which cost me a lot of my time. $100 isn't much, but it's still $100.
