Fiberglass poles irritate skin!
Just by taking these out of the package, my hands got little prickles of fiberglass all over. I’m going to spray them with clear coat before letting my kids assemble them. The markers don’t bleed through the kite fabric, but the ink goes on in thin lines and then runs along the weave lines. We haven’t flown them yet and my kids are excited to customize their own kites, but I would not purchase this product again.

- Limited usage: Once the kite is assembled and flown, there may be limited learning opportunities that kids can derive from the experience. The kit could benefit from an added educational aspect, such as a guide on the physics of kites or the history of kite flying, to maximize its use
