Tl;dr3yo torti tore up the sofa to hide in - sealed the sofa and bought a capsule to hide the kitten - the cat loves it! Highly recommended! 10/10 I can finally write this review. A 3-year-old tortoiseshell with medium hair who's a bit of a jerk (laughs). She started hiding under the sofa and quickly managed to get in through the floor. After blocking the sofa and sealing the open hole in the bottom, I bought it hoping it would satisfy her love of hiding. At first she just liked the toy mouse that came with the pod; spends enough time in the pod to sniff it once. (Now the mouse toy is her new favorite toy and she plays with it all the time.) My husband has started leaving treats and catnip in the pod from time to time, so convince her to use it and keep it by the couch, hoping that association will work. . That didn't happen. She regularly attempted to bypass the blockers on the couch to get to her makeshift den. In the end, I decided to move the pod entirely out of the living room and into a corner of her play area so she could see everything. their toys by hiding them. Apparently that was all she needed because she's finally using them and LOVES them! She loves to pounce on me and my husband from her cute little den and sometimes I even see her napping with her. Mouse! She still tries to get under the sofa at times, but it's more like she's just touching the blockers before moving on to more important feline matters. I highly recommend for cats that like to hide!
