I'm 5ft 2cm, 140-145lbs, waist 32" to 33" and hips 42" to 43" (big luggage) not very small for me as I'm not tall, fits me the length. XL is about two fingers or almost 2 inches wider, more on my waist. I believe XL easily fits a 34-36" waist and hips up to 46" because the shorts are stretchy. I wear large and usually XL from China. The bottom is ok but the shorts have the wrong one somewhere Size. I will return it and buy a size L. You can choose a smaller size. Hope this helps. I bought silver, don't know if there are other colors in the same size.
