I'm 5ft 2cm, 140-145lbs, waist 32" to 33" and hips 42" to 43" (big luggage) not very small for me as I'm not tall, fits me the length. XL is about two fingers or almost 2 inches wider, more on my waist. I believe XL easily fits a 34-36" waist and hips up to 46" because the shorts are stretchy. I wear large and usually XL from China. I love it! They are lined with fabric so they don't itch. They fit very well. I bought the XL, weigh exactly 200 pounds, am 5'4" and wear a 14/16 depending on the brand.
