Works a little but still nice
I bought these for my son who is 5, almost 6 years old. I bought him a size 8 hoping he would have room to grow. They fit him perfectly so they definitely run small, I would buy a few sizes larger than what your child is currently wearing. But they hold up great, I've washed them and they don't fade and the decals stay ok. He loves them and they are warm but not too warm.
