This kit took approximately 10 minutes or less to install. Everything I needed was in the box. The instructions provided were clearly written. I had no trouble installing it as one reviewer said, my truck doesn't come with factory air either. In terms of performance, I hardly noticed any difference in the midrange. At the very least, this intake kit is sure to clean the engine bay. The intake works well with the TBI mod popular on these GMT-400 trucks as it allows enough clearance for the distributor cap. The sealed air box on this kit is much better than the K&N version which uses an open air box that simply draws hot air from the engine bay. The quality is also much better, the air intake is well attached to the factory holes in the inner fender of the truck.
